Pre-Loved Podcast: Natasha Halesworth

This week’s guest is Natasha Halesworth, of The Consistency Project. Natasha Halesworth is the secondhand enthusiast behind the shop and lifestyle community, The Consistency Project. Focused on breaking the many stigmas of secondhand through inspiration and education, she’s also gone through the journey of curating secondhand focused on comfort, versatility and function all while redefining what "sustainable fashion" can look like. She most recently opened up a physical retail and community space in Brooklyn, NY in Dec 2019.

In this episode, we talk about upcycling and reuse, deadstock, starting a vintage business on the side of a full-time job, finding work-life balance as a new mom, and how to impact the environment by buying second-hand first. Thanks for listening, and let’s dive right in!

  • Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes… the ones who see things differently — they’re not fond of rules… You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things… they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do. — Steve Jobs, 1997
